Overview
Set in deepest Dartmoor country, the historic Oxenham Arms is still the hub of village life. The place began in the 12th century as a monastery but today contemporary touches blend seamlessly with an ambience of gnarled beams, whitewashed stone walls and stone mullioned windows. A comfort-oriented menu of unfussy country inn food scores many hits.
