The priory dates back to the 14th century when it was founded as a Carmelite monastery. Parts of the original priory are incorporated in the existing building, which is Grade I listed. The priory is in19 acres of parkland which is accessible to resident guests and non-residents. Rooms are located within the main building and the annexe; all practically appointed. Public areas include the Radcliffe Restaurant, named after the last private occupant of the priory, and a range of original rooms suitable for all occasions. Parking is available on site.
