Overview
A National Trust property since 1949, Ascott holds an exceptional collection of paintings, Chinese porcelain, and English and French furniture. Its core is an old farmhouse dating from 1606. The original half-timbered farmhouse has undergone many changes and was transformed by the Rothschilds in an 'Old English' style towards the end of the 19th century.
