Ingatestone Hall
Overview
Ingatestone House is a 16th-century manor house set in its own grounds. It was built by Sir William Petre, Secretary of State to four Tudor monarchs, and is still occupied by his descendants. The House contains furniture, pictures and memorabilia accumulated over the centuries, and two priests hiding places.
