Overview
Set in 175 acres of parkland and landscaped gardens, Alexander House dates back to the 17th century. Most of the bedrooms are very spacious and all have luxurious bathrooms; the rooms in the most newest wing are particularly stunning. There are two award-winning restaurants to choose from – AG’s Restaurant for tasting menus of inspired modern British cuisine, and Reflections is the more casual brasserie-style operation. The Utopia Spa has a state-of-the-art pool and gym, as well as specialised treatments.

Divided from East Sussex back in 1888, West Sussex has a variety of landscapes and coastal scenery, but it is the spacious and open South Downs with which the county is most closely associated.
