Mottisfont
Overview
In a picturesque setting by the River Test, Mottisfont is an 18th-century house adapted from a 12th-century priory. The north front shows its medieval church origins quite clearly, and the garden has splendid old trees and a walled garden planted with the national collection of old-fashioned roses. The estate includes Mottisfont village and surrounding farmland and woods. Seasonal events programme.
