How does a restaurant achieve 4 AA Rosettes?

AA Rosettes are awarded by our team of inspectors, who have an unrivalled wealth of experience in assessing culinary excellence.

This is a very select group. Restaurants with 4 AA Rosettes are among the top restaurants in the UK where the cooking demands national recognition. These restaurants will exhibit intense ambition, a passion for excellence, superb technical skills and remarkable consistency. Receiving the award is a huge achievement not to be underestimated – taken together, restaurants with 3 Rosettes or 5 Rosettes make up the top 10% of venues with the award.
